2008 Mixed Season Upon Us
Plan is to open TennisLink for team registration on April 15. At that time teams may be formed for 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 mixed doubles teams for both adult and senior divisions.
If you get a score keeper from the tennis center PLEASE remember to return it to the center when have finished your match. It is your responsibility to return these. They have been left on the courts and the staff has had to get them before closing. Also please clean up your court when you finish your match. There are trash cans all over the center for your convience. Let's keep our tennis center looking nice.

Bubble Rules
The rules of the bubble are as follows:
- Any abuse to the bubble will not be tolerated.
- The back door can only be opened in an emergency. If it is opened for even a few minutes, the bubble will begin to come down
- Regulation tennis shoes must be worn on all our courts, indoor or outdoor.
- The lights should be on when you enter the bubble, if not push the light switch located on the revolving door up. If the lights have just been turned off and are hot it will take about 15 minutes for them to regain full strength.
- When you exit the bubble, leave the lights on.
- Make sure to pick up all your trash and dispose of it properly.
- M-F 8 am to 9:45 pm
- Saturday 8am to 4pm
- Sunday 12pm to 6pm
Court cost are $20.00 per two hour session. This is to be paid prior to play at the rec center office. The recreation center employee will be sure to turn the lights out and lock the building at the end of each day. Please do not ask to play past closing time.
The Decatur league is a Local League within the AlabamaTennis Association. The Alabama Tennis Association (ATA) is a District of the United States Tennis Association/Southern Section. All members of the USTA are members of the ATA (the USTA's representative in Alabama). The ATA promotes all USTA programing and USTA sanctioned tournaments. The mission statement of the ATA is: To create a sense of community, influence people's lives in a positive, character building manner, and promote health and fitness through lifelong program opportunities that meet the recreational (fun), competitive, and social needs of Alabama's people.
