Adult League
The Adult Leagues are available for both men and women. There are local teams participating at the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 NTRP levels. The format of an Adult league team match is five individual matches. These matches consist of 2 singles matches and 3 doubles matches for a total of 8 players per team. The age requirement for the Adult League is 19. This means that the participant must turn 19 anytime during the calendar year in which the season is played. There will be a minimum number of round-robin matches played locally and the winning team will represent Decatur at the State Championships.Senior League
The Senior Leagues are available for both men and women. There are local teams participating at the 3.5 and 4.0 NTRP levels. The format of a Senior league team match is 3 individual matches. These matches consist of 3 doubles matches for a total of 6 players per team. The age requirement for the Senior League is 50. This means that the participant must turn 50 anytime during the calendar year in which the season is played. There will be a minimum number of round-robin matches played locally and the winning team will represent Decatur at the State Championships.Super Senior League
The Super Senior Leagues are available for both men and women. The format of a Super Senior league team match is 3 individual matches. These matches consist of 3 doubles matches for a total of 6 players per team. There are 2 divisions for Super Seniors, both based on age. The Super Senior 60 division is for anyone that has reached the age of 60 or more anytime during the calendar year. The Super Senior 70 division is for anyone that has reached the age of 70 or more anytime during the calendar year. There is not be a requirement for local play for Super Seniors if there is only one team per division. The local team (or the winning team in case of local play) will represent Decatur at the State Championships. Typically, all teams that are formed at these divisions are invited to the State Championships, although that may vary each year.Mixed Doubles League
The Mixed Doubles Leagues are played with a combination of men and women. There are local leagues participating at 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 combined NTRP levels. The format of an Mixed Doubles league team match is 3 individual matches. These matches consist of 3 doubles matches for a total of 6 players per team. The participants of each match consists of a man and a woman whose combined individual NTRP ratings do not exceed the League rating. The individual ratings cannot be more than the next highest 0.5 value from the midpoint of the league rating. For example, the maximum individual rating for the 6.0 would be 3.5, for the 7.0 league it is 4.0 and for the 8.0 league, it is 4.5. Either gender may have the higher rating. The age requirement for the Mixed Doubles League is the same as the Adult League. There will be a minimum number of round-robin matches played locally and the winning team will represent Decatur at the State Championships.Senior Mixed Doubles League
The Senior Mixed Doubles Leagues are set up exactly the same as the Adult Mixed Doubles with the exception of the age requirement. There are local leagues participating at 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 combined NTRP levels. The age requirement for the Senior Mixed Doubles League is the same as the Senior League(50). There will be a minimum number of round-robin matches played locally and the winning team will represent Decatur at the State Championships. Typically, a one team league is allowed and as long as that team plays enough qualifying matches, they can represent Decatur at the State Championships.Combo Doubles League
The Combo Doubles Leagues are available for both men and women. There are local leagues participating at 6.5, 7.5 and 8.5 combined NTRP levels. The format of a Combo Doubles league team match is 3 individual matches. These matches consist of 3 doubles matches for a total of 6 players per team. The participants of each match consists of two men or two women (depending on the league) whose combined individual NTRP ratings do not exceed the League rating. The age requirement for the Combo Doubles League is the same as the Adult League. There will be a minimum number of round-robin matches played locally and the winning team will represent Decatur at the State Championships.Senior Combo Doubles League
The Combo Doubles Leagues are set up exactly the same as the Adult Combo Doubles with the exception of the age requirement. There are local leagues participating at 6.5 and 7.5 combined NTRP levels. The age requirement for the Senior Mixed Doubles League is the same as the Senior League(50). There will be a minimum number of round-robin matches played locally and the winning team will represent Decatur at the State Championships. Typically, a one team league is allowed and as long as that team plays enough qualifying matches, they can represent Decatur at the State Championships.
